Mission
Our mission is healthy sleep
The story of Bernuss beds began long before the brand itself was created. Ján Nehéz, our founder, opened a bed shop in Bratislava in 2012 – but what he saw as a side business grew into a mission to help people get a better, quality and healthier night's sleep. In 2014, he founded his own brand of handmade beds that elevated his clients' sleep to perfection, with timeless design, in harmony with nature and without compromise.
Craft
Craft runs in the family
He revived the carpentry craft, which had been a tradition in his family for generations, and together with experienced craftsmen, he started the production of premium custom-made beds in the picturesque village of Nová Dedina. Without automation of machines, only with honest handwork, an attentive eye and unquestionable experience. Thanks to this, worldwide customers can today fulfil their dreams of a perfect night's sleep in beds made from the finest natural materials and tailored to their exact needs.
