If your plans include a new bed or mattress and you’d like to have them at home before Christmas, we recommend factoring in a delivery time of about 6 weeks when planning.

Production tends to be busier before the holidays, so it’s worth starting your selection well in advance.

There’s no need to decide overnight. Having plenty of time will allow you to try out different options, get advice, and choose a solution that will suit you not only for the first few nights but for the long term.

What if you need the bed sooner?

It’s not always possible or necessary to wait several weeks.

Maybe you’re finishing up your bedroom, moving, or simply don’t want to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a new bed. Even in that case, there’s a solution.

BERNUSS also has ready-made beds available that can be picked up immediately.

With these beds, you can choose from existing configurations, significantly reducing the time between making your selection and having the bed delivered to your home.

A display bed doesn’t have to mean compromising on firmness

When you’ve already chosen a bed, a natural question may arise: What if I like the bed but the firmness of the mattress isn’t right for me?

Even in that case, BERNUSS beds can be customized.

If you like the design and configuration of a particular bed but need a different mattress firmness, we can adjust it for you.

The mattress is returned to the factory, where it is opened up, the individual layers are removed, and the original spring system is replaced with one offering the selected firmness. The mattress is then completely reassembled.

The firmness adjustment itself can be completed in about one week. Depending on the specific situation, the modified bed can be delivered to your home in approximately one to two weeks.

So if you find a bed whose design you like but aren’t sure about the mattress’s firmness, you don’t have to automatically rule it out. You can consult with us directly about the options for a specific modification.
